Lisa Marie-Parker

Lisa-Marie Parker is a three-time Green Room Award Nominee for her roles in Blood Brothers, Cats and John and Jen, and is also a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne with a Bachelor of Music Performance majoring in Classical Voice. 

As a singing teacher, Lisa-Marie has freelanced for the past 15 years as a private Singing Teacher, Audition coach and Career Mentor working with hundreds of singers including the wonderful students of Centrestage Performing Arts School, Brunswick, Exitleft in Hobart, Walt Disney Special Events Australia, Starbound, Signal 37 Project, Anti Racism Action Band now Outer Urban Projects to name a few. She was also a regular judge at Highpoint Star Search Competition. Lisa-Marie, along with Australia’s leading Music Theatre experts, contributed and guided the development of the new AMEB Music Theatre Syllabus launched in 2015.

John Lander

Internationally recognised vocologist, John Lander specialises in the training and development of voice, with particular interest in correcting vocal impairment arising from misuse or physical damage. He has assisted the rehabilitation of voices affected by a wide variety of disorders, including: dysarthria arising from head injury; semiparalysis of the larynx; vocal fold nodules and fibrosis; and hyperactivity of laryngeal musculature. As a performer over more than forty years, John has sung professionally world-wide, as soloist in a wide variety of operatic and concert productions.

A former Ambassador to Iran and Permanent Delegate to UNESCO, Paris, John has also had extensive experience as public speaker (in English, French, German, Italian, Chinese and Farsi – in which he has also sung and taught).


Carla McCallum

Carla Jane McCallum has been working professionally in the industry for over 14 years as both a singer and an actor. Since graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) with a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre in 2001, Carla has taught for many performing arts schools around Melbourne, including her former position as Associate Head of Music at the Children’s Performing Company of Australia (CPCA).

As a performer, Carla has appeared in The Pirates of Penzance with Jon English and Simon Gallaher, Thoroughly Modern Millie for The Production Company, Lead Vocalist / Guest Entertainer for Princess Cruises, as well as various plays and television appearances.


Gary Nardella

Gary graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2004 with a Bachelor in Music Performance in Classical Voice After graduating he travelled and live in the Uk and Italy for 8 years learning vocal technique from some of the Europe’s and America’s greats teachers in opera and musical Theatre. Gary has performed internationally with Jean Ann Ryan Productions, The 12 Tenors European Tours, Luca Opera Italy Gary has taught singing in Europe’s most prestigious stage schools such as Silvia Young Academy of Performing Arts,

London, The Next Step! Musical Theatre Workshop, Fredericton Canada, Academia Musicale di Firenze, Italia Conti, London and has helped many students perform on the Westend and Melbourne in professional productions.
