Centrestage Performing Arts School accepts enrolments for classes from December each year and throughout school terms 1 and 2. We usually don’t accept new students in Terms 3 and 4 as classes are preparing for end of year performances and new students would be disruptive.
To enrol in a class, you first need to check that places are available by calling our Office Manager at Reception on (03) 9380 8480 ext 1. Auditions are not required for entry to class but it is essential that each student is appropriately placed in the right class for maximum gain.
You will then need to download and fill out the following documents and deliver them to the school to complete your enrolment. There is an annual administration fee of $30 which covers APRA fees and administration charges. Please make all cheques payable to Centrestage Group.
It is imperative that families provide us with up to date email addresses. Preferably one address for the student and one address for the parents so as to guarantee maximum communication.
Once you are enrolled it is assumed that students will follow through the whole year into performances unless otherwise notified. It is imperative that we know your commitment as this will affect casting and costuming performances.
Fees are designed on a sliding scale – the more classes you take, the lower the cost for each individual class. We hope that this will encourage students to undertake more than one discipline and work towards becoming a triple-threat performer.
