All Centrestage Private Singing students have the opportunity to audition for the Cabaret in October. Students are required to perform the song that they would intend to sing in the Cabaret if selected. Students must book in at reception with Jason for a specific time. Students must present their sheet music in the correct key and songs which tell stories are preferable rather than just simple pop songs. Professional pianist will accompany students for the auditions.

All Dance students doing VPAC Dance competitions in September are required to attend this compulsory Rehearsal day for final clean ups. Times TBA closer to the day.

Tickets for the Annual Centrestage Concerts go on sale at Centrestage Studios when Box Office Opens at 9am. Traditionally parent’s/friends line up from from as early as 6am to gain a place in the line as tickets are sold on a “first in first served” basis. It is the one event of the year that we try to bring the whole Centrestage community together and make an occasion of the line up by serving up a wonderful breakfast from Leslie in the canteen. We try to make it a fun day and maintain a community feel rather than just clicking an online ticketing system.

This is a compulsory run in order of all items in the concert. It is run in Studios C and D so that the whole school gets a chance to see each other’s work. This is the only chance everyone will get to view every item. Parents are welcome to stay and watch and be a part of a supportive audience.

This is a compulsory rehearsal where all students performing in our concerts get a chance to place their items on stage in the theatre.

New Students who are interested in enrolling for 2021 have a chance to meet with Centrestage staff to discuss class options and appropriate class placements.

This is an opportunity for current students and their parents to discuss with Centrestage staff about their class options for 2021. It’s also an opportunity for any feedback on student development and progression in 2020.

Final Day where all Centrestage students, parents and staff have the opportunity to celebrate the year together. Bring a plate and share food and drinks together along with a couple of surprises.
