Performing Arts School Melbourne

Centrestage Performing Arts School is based in Brunswick East in Melbourne’s inner north. The school was established in 1991 by Ian and Leanne White and is the realisation of their vision to create a vibrant training ground for professional standard ‘triple threat’ performers i.e. performers who are equally competent as singers, dancers and actors.

Twenty one years later, the school has approximately 500 current students with many past students successfully performing all over the world. Centrestage provides training in state of the art studio facilities and offers classes in all forms of dance (Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Hip Hop) Drama (including Film/Television electives) Musical Theatre and Acrobatics. Private lessons are offered in Dance, Singing and Piano.

2015 Concert Dates

Reminder that the Concert dates for 2015 are: rehearsal at Theatre (Aitkin College) Wednesday Dec 2 from 4pm onwards and the 2 Concert Performances at the Theatre (Aitkin College) are on Saturday Dec 5th at 1:00pm and 7.30pm. RAD Ballet exam results in

On Tuesday October 6th all students who recently took their RAD Ballet exam will receive their results from Miss Christine. As this is a very exciting moment after all the hard work, we invite parents at the beginning of each ballet class to share in the announcement of the good news.  



All Centrestage Drama students will be performing here at Centrestage Studios in a group devised project based on Alice In Wonderland called DRAMA WITH ALICE. It will involve all Junior, Intermediate, Senior and Advanced drama students along with Acting For Film/Television students.
