Performing Arts School Melbourne

Centrestage Performing Arts School is based in Brunswick East in Melbourne’s inner north. The school was established in 1991 by Ian and Leanne White and is the realisation of their vision to create a vibrant training ground for professional standard ‘triple threat’ performers i.e. performers who are equally competent as singers, dancers and actors.

Twenty one years later, the school has approximately 500 current students with many past students successfully performing all over the world. Centrestage provides training in state of the art studio facilities and offers classes in all forms of dance (Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Hip Hop) Drama (including Film/Television electives) Musical Theatre and Acrobatics. Private lessons are offered in Dance, Singing and Piano.

Singing Cabarets 2015

Dramas With Alice

All Centrestage drama students are currently devising and developing a night of work based on “Alice in Wonderland” . The performance will be led by Advanced Drama and include students in Junior, Intermediate, Senior and Film/Tv acting classes. Please keep Friday Nov 13th and Saturday Nov 14th available for rehearsals/performances. Stay tuned for more details. 


Showfit Showcase 2015

The annual SHOWFIT Showcase will be performed again at The MTC Theatre in Southbank on Thursday Nov 19th  Friday Nov 20th. Watch out for times and more details as we get closer to the date.
